JEFFERSON COUNTY, WV (WOWK) – Two Jefferson County commissioners are facing over 40 misdemeanor charges each, according to the West Virginia State Police. Troopers say the charges stem from an investigation into Commissioners Jennifer Krouse and Tricia Jackson for refusing to attend commission meetings “with the stated purpose of denying a quorum.” The WVSP says the commissioners refused to attend a total of seven meetings.
